Who are the Shriners

Shriners are often recognized as the men that wear the funny hats (Fezzes) and drive the little cars in the parades around town. Shriners are also known because of their world famous clowns.

El Maida Shriners received their charter from Shriners International in 1909. We are a non-profit organization owned by a brotherhood fraternity based on fun, fellowship and the Masonic principles of brotherly love, relief, and truth. With nearly 200 temples in several countries and thousands of clubs around the world our fraternity is open to men of integrity from all walks of life.

Being a Shriner can be a life changing experience. Whether it is new friendships, experiencing the joy of giving, or getting involved in our community for the first time. Being a Shriner makes a good man better. There are also Fraternal Clubs for Women & Teens too.    Just ask a Shriner!!!
